Pre-Company is an introduction to the performing arts program for ages 5-8 . The emphasis of this program is working together as a team as well as learning basic voice, acting, and movement technique. Pre-Co meets 1x/week with opportunities to perform in a Seasonal or Family Series production each fall and spring. Curriculum includes Musikgarten, Dance Foundations, and Creative Drama.
While all Pre-Co students attend the same class each week.
Pre-Company I (open registration) performs as a class ensemble in 2 performances out of each production run.
Pre-Company II (audition based) has the opportunity to audition for speaking/singing roles, perform at special events, and in full production runs.

Ensemble is open to performers in Grades 3-12 with or without prior musical theatre experience. Performers are introduced to basic voice, dance, and acting technique, while being a part of a production experience.
Ensemble I (open registration) meets 1x/week and has the opportunity to perform as a class ensemble in 2 performances out of each production run. This is an ideal group for youth wanting to get involved in musical theatre and/or those wanting performance opportunities with a low commitment.
Ensemble II (audition based) Both Youth (Grades 3-6) and Teens (Grades 7-12) rehearse with their age group 2x/week. Performers have the opportunity to audition for speaking/ singing roles, perform at special events, and in full production runs.

YOUNG PERFORMERS ENSEMBLE
YOUNG PERFORMERS COMPANY
Main Stage Young Performers Company is an advanced group of young artists serious about training in musical theatre.
These performers have prior experience in musical theatre, voice, or dance. Both the Kids Company & Teen Company are audition based groups meet ing 2x/week with additional rehearsals for projects and events.
Company members work and perform alongside professional theatre artists in the Arkley Center Season annually and are cast in principal roles in Seasonal and/or FamilySeries productions.
Small group individualized training is tailored to grow each performer’s skill set in addition to regular training as an ensemble. Performers work with a variety of arts professionals throughout the year both locally and across the country via Zoom.
Company members also represent Main Stage in the
community performing at a variety of events throughout the year. Performers commit to both fall & spring seasons and most study voice, dance, or music privately outside of regular YPC commitments.
Auditions are held in August each year.
