YOUNG PERFORMERS ENSEMBLE
Young Performers Ensemble is the perfect opportunity for youth to get involved with Main Stage! Students will work together as an ensemble class and perform alongside the Young Performers Company in a full MTI Jr. production while workshopping introductory performance skills. This program is designed for young artists and families in mind with 1-2x/week rehearsals and minimal performance commitments.

YPE students will perform as ensemble groups in Shrek Jr. alongside the Young Performers Company. Shrek Jr runs July 26th at the Arcata Playhouse. Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
