THE YOUNG PERFORMERS COMPANY

Where it all began. Main Stage Humboldt was developed around the Young Performers Company, a collaboration of skilled, dedicated youth artists ages 7-17 who, initially, came together to perform new musical theatre works in the Humboldt community beginning in the spring of 2014.  Today, Main Stage Young Performers Company  continues to fulfill its mission of providing a space for advanced young performers to study music, theatre, and dance while using their skills  first hand in productions throughout the year. The Company serves as Main Stage's resident group of youth performers  appearing in both Young Performers productions and Broadway in Concert productions throughout the year. In addition to appearing in the Main Stage Season, the Young Performers Company continues to take on new musical works, perform at several community events throughout the year, and participates in a unique education model  in which performers have the opportunity to be both study and perform alongside professional artists from across the country.
